We help small businesses and organizations (with 5-50 employees) looking to reinvent and formulate their online presence with a website that is on-trend with design, well-coded and flexible enough to grow with the business as it grows. We work with our clients to build an online marketing strategy that includes a well-built website, social media content traditional print marketing and other resources for growth.
Johnny Flash Productions is looking for a motivated Virtual Web & Graphic Designer that is up for becoming part of the team for long term growth.
This position is initially 25 hours/week. Monday – Friday, 5 hours per day. Preferred day shift of 9am-2pm Eastern Standard Time (New York time).
Responsibilities will include:
- Create website wireframes for landing pages, web sites and other online pages
- Design website mock-ups in Figma that reflect wireframe
- Create social graphics for client accounts
- Create print graphics (flyers, posters, postcards) in Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign
- Create promotional graphics for client events
- Update brand style guide for clients after our logo designer finishes a logo
- Utilize our design project workflow, and communicate with project manager
- Create an email template for use in programs like MailChimp, Constant Contact, Drip.
- Save/re-size/compress images for website, social media, blog post and newsletter (Adobe Photoshop)
Qualities We Look For:
- English fluency
- At least 5+ years experience with Adobe design programs
- A free thinker, willing to look for answers
- Confidence in web design, responsive design, graphic design
- A team player who is happy working in a small team of 5-10 people
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop different styles depending on client needs/industry
- Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication
Preferred knowledge of:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Figma
- MailChimp / iContact / Constant Contact
- Teamwork PM
- Process.st
Special Requirements:
- A computer that is two years old or less
- Your own Internet connection and some kind of backup internet
- Have a video camera, and headset or microphone (for team meetings and calls)
