Stage design for a church

Christmas is a special time every year in the life of the church as everyone comes together and celebrates the birth of Christ. It can be a challenge to make Christmas feel fresh and unique but that was exactly the task we were up for.

This set was inspired by a stage design done by the band Need to Breathe. We used wooden quilt hoops for the circles and white projection friendly fabric to make the circles. They were mounted on a grid structure and then we used several projectors to display video content, still images and phrases from songs onto the circles. This project was done while on staff at Fairfax Community Church.
