Live Talks LA

Live Talks LA hosts some of the most popular live and virtual events around, with conversations featuring writers, filmmakers, actors, musicians, and big thinkers from business and science. They needed a website that could keep up with the energy of their events and make it easy for audiences to find their next great conversation.

We put their live and virtual events front and center, so visitors can quickly see what’s coming up, who’s speaking, and how to get tickets. The real fun was under the hood. We custom coded the scheduling so events manage themselves. Once a live event wraps, it automatically flips to a virtual event the next day and stays available for 7 days. After that, it moves into past events on its own. No manual updates, no outdated listings, and no one on their team having to remember to change anything.

It was a great project to work on. Live Talks LA celebrates ideas, creativity, and people connecting with each other, and we’re proud to have built a site that works as hard behind the scenes as their events do on stage.
