Although our Website Care Plans are for the sites we build or re-design, we welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with a reliable dedicated webmaster.
For websites that are not on WordPress or require a re-build, we require that they be built inside the WordPress content management system on a solid framework before coming onto a Website Care Plan. This makes it easier for you to make simple updates and allows us to do everything that on-going support requires. We will re-build your website in WordPress, making recommendations on any changes we suggest, and will present that for review.
We will then make up to two rounds of revisions (up to 2 hours each) to the website. If your revisions exceed these parameters we will notify you in advance and once you agree to them, we will be bill you at our standard rate ($125/hour) in 15 minute increments.
Any premium plugins or other software licenses required to re-create your website in WordPress that are not included with our Website Care Plans will be an additional cost.
If the project timeline is extended because you need additional time to provide content, images, feedback, or testing, we will be glad to accommodate you but an extra fee will apply. This accounts for your website on our development server, additional back and forth, regular required software updates and adjusting the timeline and internal resources. Our extended project fee is $100/week (for projects totaling under $10,000) which will be added to your next invoice.
Once your WordPress website is ready to launch, we will charge your card on file for the remaining amount (remaining balance + premium plugins and overage costs).
This package is the discounted rate for clients that agree to go onto a Website Care plan upon completion of the website conversion to WordPress. If you decide not to go onto a Website Care Plan when the website conversion is complete, then you will be charged the full price for the re-design (an additional $1,000) and you will be responsible for your own licenses for plugins and other tools used on your website, security, performance monitoring, uptime monitoring, back-ups and software updates.
